I don’t know about you but I can’t remember the last time we all met at a Sunday church service and enjoyed each other’s company since the COVID-19 pandemic hit Canada but I do know I’m missing my church family.

With the church closure and self-distancing on going, our expenses still need to be met. I hope you will consider continuing your contribution to the church expenses. There are 4 ways to do this:

  1. Sign up to the United Church of Canada PAR monthly donation program (please contact Kim Draper – or call 416-346-6902

  2. e-transfer directly to: by signing into your personal banking (full instructions on our website under ‘This Week at Trinity’
  3. go to our Trinity United Church, Bobcaygeon’s website and use the ‘Donate Now’ button on the first page (there is a 4% surcharge)

  4. mail your offerings to: Trinity United Church, PO Box 426, Bobcaygeon K0M 1A0

Procedure For E-Transfer

1.  Sender must sign-in to their bank account.

2.  Click on the e-transfer icon.

3.  The recipient is Trinity United Church.

4.  The email address is 

5.  Enter the total amount of the donation.

6.  In the memo field, enter the specific designations of the donation.  E.g. For a $100 donation, general $70, M&S $10, property $10, world development $5.

7.  For the security question, use “church name”. (do not enter quotation marks.)

8.  Answer “Trinity”. (do not enter quotation marks but use capital T)

9.  Send.

Sunday’s Virtual Coffee Time

There are residents in our community who are in need of help but are hesitant to go to the Food Bank. If you know of people in this situation would you please give them this phone number 705-928-8104. Using this number, they can leave a message giving their address and requests— specific needs, number of adults and children, etc. The Food Bank will arrange for food to be delivered. There is only one person who has this phone number so it is completely confidential. Thank you for helping us meet the hidden needs of this community.

ECORC Respectful Relations Zoom Workshop #2


A second zoom workshop will take place on Saturday Oct. 17 with Shelley Knott Fife, more information to follow. This builds on the first event which happened in May, although newcomers will be most welcome. Information from Blood Donor Clinic


As hospitals resume procedures that were put on hold during COVID-19, now more than ever, every blood donation appointment needs to be filled.  By appointment only, book now at or call 1-888-236-6283. The next date is Friday, Sept. 11thfrom 2 – 7 p.m. at the Bobcaygeon Legion #239, 96 King St. East.




Please Note:  You may still bring in or send in your grocery tapes and milk bags between Mon. – Fri., 9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Abby Retreat Center…


exist to support people living with cancer in making life enhancing choices for physical, mental, emotion and spiritual wellbeing, offering a free 4-day retreat for them and a caregiver.  Our very good friends Rev.
